WAF's We Can program is please to annouce our pilot project Farms To Families Fruits in Vegetable Rx program in partnership with the The Downtown Anniston Farmer's Market and Alabama Ostepathetic Medical students under the auspice of Dr. Margaret Davenport.

 To test this program WAF will be signing up to (25) families with children. Families with children will  receeive $50.00 monthly  in healthy buck vouchers to be redeeemed at the The Downtown Anniston Farmer's Market on Saturdays, from 8am-noon. 

The requirements are that you MUST have children and  "check-in" with our medical students on a monthly basis at the Carver Community Center on the following dates:

April 5th
May 11th
June 28th
August 9th
September 21st

5:00PM-6:00PM

At these dates medical students will provide basic medical preventative services:
Blood pressure check
Weight Checks
BMI Screening
