West Anniston Foundation Announces 2016 Grant Awards
 The West Anniston Foundation (WAF) is pleased to announce its grant recipients for the 2016-2017 grant cycle.WAF is dedicated to promoting the health and well-being in the Anniston area, partnering with nonprofit organizations that are making a positive impact on the community. In past years WAF has provided grants annually to support health related projects that address the most pressing needs of the West Anniston community through innovative health education/ and health service projects.
This year the foundation awarded up to $25,000.00 in grants funds through a competitive grant process. The following five nonprofits were awarded funding:

Boys and Girls Club of East Central Alabama: Triple A Play: A Game for the Mind, Body and Soul.
Community Enabler: Purchase prescription medications for non-insured clients.
The ARC:  Summer music therapy program for children with intellectual disabilities.
St. Michael’s Clinic: Provide disease management for non-insured individuals with diabetes.
Interfaith Ministries: Purchase equipment for dental clinic and contractual services related to dental care.
